Defamation and misinformation in U.S. presidential campaigns 

On November 18, 2024, the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Friends of Luigi Vittorio Ferraris Association, with the collaboration of the Festival of Diplomacy, organized a meeting with Prof. Luca Mencacci entitled “Beyond the Election Verdict: Dirty Politics and the Dynamics of Political Communication.”

Prof. Mencacci, starting with the book Dirty Politics (2024, Rubbettino), guided us through an in-depth analysis of the dynamics of political communication that have influenced all U.S. election campaigns.
